Set the TANK CAP PF thumbwheels to 41.4.

 NOTE: This is the capacitance value added to the empty

Set the battery switch to ON.

 (f)  
Push the COMP CAL switch and hold it.

 (g)  
Set the 10s thumbwheel of COMP SIM PF to 4.

 (h)  
Turn the 0-10 knob until the meter shows the minimum value.

 NOTE: If you turn the knob to a position farther than the

 (i)  Turn the D.F.CONTROL knob until the meter shows the minimum value.
 NOTE:____ If you turn the knob to a position farther than the correct position, the value increases. The D.F. CONTROL has very little effect for capacitances below approximately 50 pF. The test unit is more sensitive to adjustment of the D.F. CONTROL for larger capacitances.

 (r)  Connect a T connection between the test harness wires that have the COMP label.
 (s)  Connect the T connection to the LO-Z COMP receptacle on the test unit.
 (t)  Set the battery switch to ON.

 (7)  Do a check of the values on the fuel quantity indicators with a full tank.
 (a)  
Connect the test harness to the rear of the fuel quantity indicator.

 (b)  
Close the QTY and EP GND FUELING circuit breakers and let the system become warm for five minutes.
