(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) TEMP IND (for the fuel temperature indicating system)

(2) Do these steps to remove the fuel temperature bulb:
NOTE: The fuel temperature bulb is on the aft side of the aft
____ spar. It is on the outboard side of the left main landing gear. It is immediately below the fuel shutoff valve for the APU.
(a)
Turn the locking cap for the temperature bulb to release the bulb from the pin.
(b)
Pull the bulb from the housing.

(3) Measure the temperature in the bulb housing.
(a)
Put the thermometer in the bulb housing.
(b)
Permit the temperature to become stable.
(c)
Write the temperature shown on the thermometer.

Disconnect the connector, D616, from the fuel temperature indicator in the flight compartment (WDM 28-42-01).
