 NOTE:____ The pressure that the relief valve opens is seen on the differential pressure gage when the needle stops and the pressure starts to increase.
 (d)  If the relief valve opened at a differential pressure more than 9.80 psig (67.6 kPag), then make sure there are no leaks at any of the tubing connections on the vacuum tank assembly.

 (1)  Remove the cargo lining on the left sidewall in the forward cargo compartment at STA 770 to get access to the pressure relief valves (Ref 25-52-01/401).

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU PULL THE VALVE GATE STRAIGHT AND ONLY THE MINIMUM
_______ DISTANCE THAT IS NECCESARY TO CAUSE THE INDICATION. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VALVE IF YOU PULL THE VALVE GATE OPEN TOO FAR OR IF THE VALVE GATE IS NOT ALIGNED WITH THE VALVE.
 (2) Use two hands to carefully pull the valve gate open approximately
 0.50 inch (12.7 mm).

Make sure the applicable EICAS status message UPR PRESS RELIEF or LWR PRESS RELIEF shows on the lower EICAS screen.

Let the valve gate move to the closed position.

 PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE FILTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
___________________________________________________
 1.  General
_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure, one for removal and one for installation of the pressure relief valve filters. The pressure relief valves are installed in the forward cargo compartment.
 B.  The steps that are necessary for removal and installation of a pressure relief valve filter are as follows:
 (1)  
Remove the sidewall lining from the forward cargo compartment

 (2)  
Remove the filter cover and filter from the pressure relief valve

 (3)  
Clean and examine the filter housing

 (4)  
Install the filter and filter cover.

 C.  The sidewall lining in the forward cargo compartment must be removed to get access to the pressure relief valves.
