 (d)  Open these circuit breakers:
 1)  P6 main power distribution panel a) 6B27, ALT PWR RELAYS CAPT XFR b) 6B28, ALT PWR RELAYS F/O XFR
 2) Make sure the captain's outboard and inboard IDUs go out of view. 3) Make sure the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 4) Make sure the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.
 (e)  
Set the ALT EFIS switch to the CAPT position. 1) Make sure the captain's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 2) Make sure the captain's inboard IDU shows the ND format. 3) Make sure the first officer's outboard and inboard IDUs go

 out of view.

 (f)  
Set the ALT EFIS switch to the F/O position. 1) Make sure the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 2) Make sure the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.

 3)  Make sure the captain's outboard and inboard IDUs go out of view.

 (g)  
Close these circuit breakers:

 1)  P6 main power distribution panel a) 6B27, ALT PWR RELAYS CAPT XFR b) 6B28, ALT PWR RELAYS F/O XFR
 2) Make sure the captain's and the first officer's outboard IDU shows the PFD format. 3) Make sure the captain's and the first officer's inboard IDU shows the ND format.

 (4) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (1)  Do a test of the ND mode select switch:
 (a)  Set the mode select switch to the APP position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded approach format.
 NOTE: If the ND does not show the expanded approach
____ format, push the CTR button to show the format.
 (b)  
Set the mode select switch to the VOR position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded VOR format.

 (c)  
Set the mode select switch to the MAP position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded MAP format.

 (d)  
Set the mode select switch to the PLN position. 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded plan format.

Set the mode select switch to the APP position.

Push the CTR button on the mode control switch.
 1) Make sure the ND shows the full approach format.

 (g)  
Set the mode select switch to the VOR position.
 1) Make sure the ND shows the full VOR format.

 (h)  
Set the mode select switch to the MAP position.
 1) Make sure the ND shows the full MAP format.

 (i)  
Push the CTR button on the mode control switch.
 1) Make sure the ND shows the expanded MAP format.

 (2)  Do a test of the range select switch:
 (a)  
AIRPLANES WITH A RANGE OF 5; Set the range select switch to 5. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 3 in the middle of the display.

 (b)  
Set the range select switch to 10. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 5 in the middle of the display.

 (c)  
Set the range select switch to 20. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 10 on the center of the display.

 (d)  
Set the range select switch to 40. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 20 on the center of the display.

 (e)  
Set the range select switch to 80. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 40 on the center of the display.

 (f)  
Set the range select switch to 160. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 80 on the center of the display.

 (g)  
Set the range select switch to 320. 1) Make sure the ND shows a 160 on the center of the display.
