 (b)  
Remove the sealant material from the electrical terminals with the plastic scraper.

 (c)  
Make a note of the terminal location and the wire color for the sensor installation.

 (d)  
Remove the sensor wires from the terminal strip.

 (e)  
Carefully remove the terminal lugs from the sensor leads.

 (f)  
Attach a line that is longer than the conduit to the sensor wires.

 NOTE: You will use this line to pull the sensor wires through
____ the conduit, during the installation.

Do these steps to remove the sensor:

 (a)  
Remove the conduit nut.

 (b)  
Remove the sensor mounting screws.

 (c)  
Carefully pull the electrical leads from the conduit.

 NOTE: Do not pull the line fully out of the conduit.

Install the Truck Tilt Sensor (Fig. 201)

Do these steps to install the sensor:

 (a)  
Twist the sensor leads together and attach the line that you kept in the conduit during the removal.

 (b)  
Carefully pull the leads through the conduit and remove the line from the leads.

 (c)  Install the sensor with the mounting screws.
 NOTE:____ If the sensor or target bracket, or shims have not been damaged or removed, then no sensor adjustment is necessary. However, if the bracket or shims have been damaged or replaced, the sensor clearance must be checked and adjusted (Refer to the task to Adjust the Wing Gear Truck Tilt Sensor).
 1)  Adjust the sensor clearance if it is necessary (Refer to the task to Adjust the Wing Gear Truck Tilt Sensor).
 (2)  S 432-029Connect the sensor wires to the terminal strip: (a) Cut sensor wires to the correct length and install new terminal lugs on the wires. (b) Connect the sensor wires to the terminal strip. (c) Do a check of the terminals and the wire color for the correct connection.
 (3)  S 862-047Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the applicable circuit breaker on the P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel: (a) 7F22, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT PRI (b) 7F23, LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN
