Installation of the Truck Tilt Sensor for the Body Landing Gear

 2) Make a note of the terminal location and the wire color for
 the sensor installation. 3) Remove the sensor wires from the terminal strip. 4) Carefully remove the terminal lugs from the sensor wires. 5) Prepare a line that is longer than the conduit to make the
 sensor wire installation easier.
 NOTE: You will use this line to pull the new sensor wires
____ through the conduit during the installation.
 6) Attach the line to the sensor wires.
 (c)  Remove the sensor as follows: 1) Make a mark of the installed sensor position on the sensor
 mounting bracket. 2) Remove the conduit nut. 3) Remove the sensor mounting bolts. 4) Carefully pull the sensor wires from the conduit.
 NOTE: Do not pull the line fully out of the conduit.

 5) Remove the sensor from the airplane. 6) If they are damaged, remove or replace the sensor bracket or the target.

Install the Truck Tilt Sensor (Fig. 201)

 (1)  
Do these steps to install the truck tilt sensor:

 (a)  
Twist the sensor wires together and attach the line installed in the sensor removal procedure to the lead ends.

 (b)  
Carefully pull the wires through the conduit and remove the line from the wires.

 (c)  
Align the sensor with the marks made on the sensor mounting bracket.

 (d)  Install the sensor with the mounting bolts.
 NOTE: If the shims, the target, or the bracket have not
____ been removed or damaged, then no sensor adjustment is necessary. But if the shims, the target, or the bracket have been replaced or damaged, then the sensor must be adjusted (Refer to the task to Adjust Body Gear Tilt Sensor).
 1)  Do the task to Adjust the Body Gear Truck Tilt Sensor, if it is necessary.
 (e)  
If it is necessary, cut the sensor wires to the correct length.

 (f)  
Install new terminal lugs on the sensor wires.

 (g)  
Connect the sensor wires to the terminal strip.

 (h)  
Do a check of the terminals and the wire color for the correct connection.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and Close this circuit breaker (as applicable) on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P7:
