(b)  
Use the bolt alignment guide to install the assemblies (bolt (13), lubrication insert (10), and O-rings (11 and 12)) of the actuator attachment bolt in the yoke (43) and the actuators (31, and 32).

 (c)  
Install the tang washers (37) and the nuts (34).

 (d)  
Tighten nut (34) 80 to 100 pound-feet. 1) Loosen the nut and tighten it with your hand to the nearest castellation.

 2)  Install the lockbolt (33), the washer (35), and the nut (36).

 (e)  
Apply tamper proof putty to the nut (36) until any movement of the nut can cause the seal to break.

 (f)  
Remove the caps and the plugs and install the hydraulic lines and the clamps to the actuator.

Supply hydraulic power to system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Connect the actuators (31, and 32) at the apex and turn the rod ends to engage the clevises.

 NOTE: The actuator must not be locked by a partial extension to

 permit movement of the clevis.

 (a)  
Make sure there are no leaks in the hydraulic connections.

 (b)  
Apply hydraulic pressure to the EXTEND port to release the actuator and extend the shaft approximately 1 inch.

 (c)  
Turn the clevis manually if it is necessary.

Remove the hydraulic power (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Continue to connect the actuators at the apex.

 (a)  
Use the apex pin alignment guide to install the apex pin assembly in the actuators and spindle.

 (b)  
Tap the apex pin assembly (apex pin (17), lube insert (15), and O-rings (14)) into the apex through the spindle and actuator clevises.

 NOTE: Use a hollow drift to prevent damage to the grease

 fittings.

 (c)  Install the splined washer (30) and the nut (27).

 (7)  Use the support stand to hold the assembly of actuators, the yoke fittings and the attachment fitting in an approximately horizontal position.
 NOTE: The assembly must be free to move during the range of travel
____ of each actuator from fully extended to fully retracted.

 (8)  Replace the electrical conduit and the brake hydraulic hoses (tie out of way to prevent damage during test of actuators) on the apex spindle (19) and install the brackets in its position.

 Manually move the upper link (in the held position) through its arc.
