 7) Open the door.
 8) Remove the roller stops.
 9) Put washers on the roller stops.

 NOTE: The washers change the location of the roller
____ stops. This puts a load on the latch.
 a) Add 0.018 inch to the dimension you measured between
 the roller stop and the roller. b) Get washers that are as thick as this sum. c) Install the washers on the roller stop.
 10) Install the roller stops.
 11) Put the lockwire on the bolt in the roller stop.

Do a check of the manual operation of the latch.

Open and close the door five times.

Connect the stay brace to the door.

Attach the stay brace to the plate on the door. 1) Make sure the clevis is in the correct radial location.

 2) Install the pin and the washer. 3) Install, but do not bend, the cotter pin.
 (b)  
Move the door almost to the closed position.

 (c)  
Make sure the clevis and the plate align.

 (d)  
If it is necessary, make the clevis and the plate align. 1) Remove the stay brace from the plate. 2) Remove the plate from the door. 3) Change the shims below the plate until the clevis and the

 plate align. 4) Install the plate. 5) Attach the stay brace to the plate.

 (e)  
Open the door to engage the pins on the stay brace.

 (f)  
Make sure the bottom pin on the stay brace points aft.

 (g)  
If it is necessary, make the bottom pin point aft. 1) Remove the stay brace from the plate on the door. 2) Push the bottom pin, and at the same time, turn the bottom

 tube to make the pin point aft. 3) Attach the stay brace to the plate on the door.

 (h)  
Do a check of the operation of the stay brace. 1) Slowly close and open the door. 2) Feel that the stay brace moves freely and easily.

 (i)  
Bend the cotter pin at the plate on the door.
