Procedure

 S 864-081
 (1)  
Open the cargo door to get access to the switches.

 S 424-062

 (2)  
Install the door warning switch on the pressure relief door (Fig. 403).

 (a)  
Remove one locknut and put the second locknut against the switch body.

 (b)  
Install the switch in the bracket.

 (c)  
Install the keywasher and the locknut.

 (d)  
Tighten the locknut and install a lockwire.

 (e)  
Connect the wiring to the switch at the connector.

 (f)  
Adjust the door warning switch. 1) Make sure the master latch lock handle is closed. 2) Measure the continuity between pins 2 on the P3 connector

 and ground on the cargo door junction box. 3) Turn the bolt on the switch until there is no continuity between pins 2 and ground on the P3 connector. 4) Turn the bolt 5 +/- 1/8 turn more.

 (3)  
Install the door latched switch.

 (a)  
Put the switch in the hole in the door beam.

 (b)  
Put the locknut on the switch.

 (c)  
Put the lockwire on the switch.

 (d)  
Connect the wiring to the switch.

 (e)  
Adjust the door latched switch. 1) Use a torque wrench to turn the latch actuator clockwise. 2) Monitor the torque you use to turn the latch actuator. 3) Turn the actuator until the torque increases 15 to 20

 pound-inches.
 NOTE: This is where the actuator hits the internal stops.

 4) Turn the latch actuator twelve turns counterclockwise.

 5) Disconnect the P3 connector from the cargo door junction
 box.
 6) Turn the screw to make the switch operate.
 7) Make sure the door latched switch does not ground pin 18 of
 the P3 connector when the switch operates.
 8) Connect the P3 connector to the cargo door junction box.

 (4)  
Install the door closed switch.

 (a)  
Put the switch in the bracket.

 (b)  
Put the locknut on the switch.

 (c)  
Put the lockwire on the switch.

 (d)  
Connect the wiring to the switch.

 (e)  
Adjust the door closed switch. 1) Turn the screw on the switch clockwise until it will not move. 2) Turn the screw on the switch 3.0 +/- 1/8 turns counterclockwise. 3) Disconnect the P3 connector from the cargo door junction box. 4) Make sure there is continuity between pin 16 on the P3

 connector and ground. 5) Connect the P3 connector to the cargo door junction box.

Close these circuit breakers for the applicable EICAS system:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7F8 UPR EICAS
 2) 7F9 EIU L
 3) 7F10 EIU C
 4) 7F14 LWR EICAS
 5) 7F15 EIU R

 (6)  
Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (7)  
Do a test of the door warning system on the applicable cargo door.

 (a)
Make sure the applicable cargo door is closed and locked.
