3. FLIGHT OPS DOC MANAGER ADVANCED FUNCTIONALITIES
3.1 User manager
The user must be authenticated with Manual responsible profile to access the User Manager
from the Flight Ops Doc Manager main menu.

The Users Manager window lists the users with their associated information and status in a
dedicated table.

A tool bar provides access to the user management module functionalities:
• Create a new user.
• Edit an existing user, changing full name, email address, profile, and password.
• Delete user.
• Re-activate deleted user.
These contextual functionalities are only accessible through the administrator Flight Ops Doc
Manager main menu, if the User Manager window is displayed.

3.1.1 Function “Create User”
The functionality “Create user” enables users to create a new user whose information is
stored in the database and displayed in the Users Manager window.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with one of those available profiles:
• Manual responsible profile
• Root profile
The User Manager is displayed.
Description:
The authorized user launches the User Manager window of the Flight Ops Doc Manager
Application desktop through the different menu items.
The authorized user may activate the “Create User” functionality by the menu item “User”,
shortcut (“Ctrl+N” key).

Alternatively, the authorized user may activate the “Create User” functionality by the toolbar
button .
This functionality shows up the dialog box “Create User”.
In the “Create User” dialog box, login, full name, email address, password and profile
(selection list) must be entered.
The login must be unique and cannot be the login of an inactive or a deleted user.
Password must be entered again in the password verification field.
Empty fields are not permitted excluding the “Email Address” field.

3.1.2 Function “Modify User”
The functionality “Modify user” enables administrators to modify existing user information.
