4.5.1.3.12 Functionality “Edit Table”
The functionality “Edit Table” enables a user to edit, through a graphic interface, an
existing table node in the XML content of the document being edited.

The “Content” tab is selected.
The Document is in the “Tree view” representation.

The selected node is a table tag of the Document Unit.
Description:
The user must select in the Document Unit Editor the “Tree view” representation of the
Document.
In the tree view the user must select a “table” node.
The user may activate the “Edit Table” functionality by the contextual menu (right button
of the mouse).

The “Edit Table” dialog box is divided in four tabs:
Table, Dimension, Cells, Graphics and Preview.
The “Table” tab view is first displays with the “Table” radio button pre-selected.
The “Table” selection allows to modify the parameters of the table.
The user could change his selection with “Graphic” radio button and choose to edit a
graphic.

􀂃 “Table” tab corresponds to the general parameters, graphics or table according to the
user choice.
􀂃 “Dimension” tab, available when the “Table” radio button on the “Table” tab is selected,
corresponds to the general dimensions for the table header and the body of the table.
􀂃 “Cells” tab, available when the “Table” radio button on the “Table” tab is selected,
corresponds to the parameters for cell layout of the table.
􀂃 “Preview” tab, display a preview of the table defined in other tabs.
In the “Table”, “Dimension” and “Cells” tab the user may choose to visualize and thus to
modify only one part of general properties of the table with the dialog box button
. At any moment the user can come back and visualize all previously entered
