At the end of the process the working release is automatically published.
Note: The publication is processed only if the Flight Ops Doc Manager version was
installed or upgraded to LPC Browser mode (see 1.5.2 Preferences Functionalities)
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with the following profile:
• Manual responsible profile
A manual must be selected in the Manual Manager tree.
Description:
After having selected a manual in the Manual Manager tree, the authorized user may
activate the “Freeze Manual” functionality by the menu item “Freeze”.
Only DU-Solutions in “Released” state are frozen.
At the end of the “Freeze“ process, the ‘Pending’ is populated with a copy of the ‘Working’
release where the non released Invariants have been replaced by the ‘Airline’ release ones
as far as possible. It means that when an Invariant of the ‘Working’ release contains DUSolution
with a DU Status type different than “Released”, the process look for this Invariant
in the ‘Airline’ release.

If the Invariant is found in ‘Airline’ release, it is copied in the ‘Pending’ instead of the
Working release one. If not, the Invariant is removed from the Manual in ‘Pending’ release.

Alternatively, the authorized user may activate the “Freeze Manual” functionality by the
toolbar button of the Manual manager window.
The functionality shows the corresponding Wizard dialog box “Freeze manual”.

Initially, the user may click on “Freeze” button in order to launch the freeze process.
The “Publish in PDF format” checkbox enables the user to also publish in PDF format and
adds one step to the freeze process.
The “Publish in RTF format” checkbox enables the user to also publish in RTF format and
adds one step to the freeze process.

The “Publish” combo box allows to choose the LPC Browser issue to be used (in LPC
Browser mode only).
Last airline revision date is updated on working and pending release when a freeze is
performed. The user enters the airline revision date in wizard. The field is initialized with
today date.
Filter can be set on complete fleet, one or several MSN
A dialog box shows up. So the user can confirm his choice.
