• A Folder,
• A Group,
• Or an Invariant.
The user may insert the new element “Before”, “After” or “as a child” regarding his

4.2.1.7.2 New Document Unit solution
The functionality “New Document Unit solution” enables users to insert a new Document Unit
Solution.
Activation condition:
The connect user must be authenticated with on of those available profile:
Manual responsible profile
• Author profile
The Manual Explorer is displayed on an opened manual.
The Working tab is selected.
A Document Unit Solution or an Invariant is selected.

Description:
The user may activate “New Document Unit solution” functionality by the menu item “Solution”.

Alternatively, the user may activate the “Solution” functionality by the toolbar button
of Manual Explorer.

The permission to insert element on other depend on where the insertion will be done.
“Insert new Document unit” dialog box is displayed with pre-selected “As child” check
box if the selected item is an Invariant. If the selected item is a Solution the dialog is
displayed with location checked “Before” or “After” and “As child” check box disabled.
The user must choose the template of the element he wants to insert with the “Template”
combo box. This list displays all the available templates corresponding to the format of
the manual. Each template is associated with a type of document.
The Title field is mandatory.
For an AFM manual, Document Unit can be inserted only in an invariant whose “origin”
metadata is “operator” or in an invariant whose “origin” metadata is “airbus” without
