B. Installation of the Pylon-to-Wing Forward Attach Fitting
(Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 54-51-17-991-005)
(1)
Apply the COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to the sleeves, the spigot and all the friction surfaces.
(2)
Put the shackles (29) in position.

(3) Install the sleeves (24). Install the top sleeve first.
NOTE : You can install the sleeve more easily if you change the force____ that the jack applies to the attach fitting.
R R R R R NOTE : Put the nuts, the cotter pins and the lockwashers:____ - for the upper attachments, in the outer side of the pylons (always symmetrically to the pylon centerline). - for the inner attachments, in the inner side of the pylons (always symmetrically to the pylon centerline).
(4) Install the lockwashers (25).
(5) Install the nut (26). Lock the sleeve (24) with an special wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000). Torque the nut (26) to between 4 and 5 m.daN (29.49 and 36.87 lbf.ft). Use a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000) and a torque wrench.
(6) Safety the nut (26) with the lockwasher (25).
(7) Install the bolts (23).
(8) Lock the bolts (23) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000) and install the nut (27) with a pin wrench of the PYLON REMOVAL-WRENCH (98D54503000000) .
(9) Torque the nut (27) to between 4 and 5 m.daN (29.49 and 36.87 lbf.ft).
(10) Safety the nuts (27) with the cotter pins (28).

C. Removal of a Dynamometric Cell and Jack Under the Attach Fitting
(1) Remove the force applied to the jack. Remove the jack from under the attach fitting at RIB1.
(2) Remove the dynamometric cell and the ADAPTOR - DYNAMOMETRIC AT RIB 1 (98A54403024001).

Install the ring-retainer (3) and the ring-retainer (4) on the connectors (12).

Install the nuts (12) on the nuts (2).
(6)
Install the nut (13) on the connectors (12).
(7)
Install the O-ring (14) on the nut (13).
(8)
Install MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010) on the connectors (12).
(9)
Install the O-rings (15) on the clamp (16).
(10)
Install the bonding braids (1), the bolts (9), the nuts (10) and tighten the nuts (10).
(11)
Install the ring retainers (5), the bolts (7), the nut (6), and tighten the nuts (6).

B. Installation of the Temperature Sensor and the Rods

Install the rods (5), the bolts (4), the washers (3) and the nuts (2). Tighten the nuts.
(2)
Safety the nuts (2) with the cotter pins (1).
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors. Connect the temperature sensor (6).
