(e) Do this check of the ground operation of the aft outflow valve:
1) Set and hold the toggle switch for the manual operation of the aft outflow valve to CLOSED.
NOTE: Refer to the toggle switch for the manual
____ operation of the outflow valve as the toggle switch from here on.
2) Look at the valve position indicator and make sure the aft outflow valve closes fully in a smooth continuous movement. 3) Look at the forward and aft outflow valves and make sure
the valves are fully closed. 4) Set and hold the toggle switch to OPEN. 5) Look at the valve position indicator and make sure the aft
outflow valve opens fully in a smooth continuous movement. 6) Look at the forward and aft outflow valves and make sure the valves are fully open. 7) Operate the toggle switch until the VALVE position indicator is in the middle. 8) Set the FLT-GRD switch to FLT.
(f) Do this check of the flight operation of the aft outflow valve: 1) Set and hold the toggle switch to CLOSED. 2) Look at the valve position indicator and make sure the aft
outflow valve closes fully in a smooth continuous movement. 3) Look at the forward and aft outflow valves and make sure the valves are fully closed. 4) Set and hold the toggle switch to OPEN.
NOTE: Operation of the toggle switch on pressure
____ control panel 10-61209-10 in the FLT mode will move the aft outflow valve in small amounts. You will have to operate the toggle switch again and again to fully close or open the outflow valve.
5) Set the FLT-GRD switch to GRD.
6) If the valve position indicator showed an irregular outflow valve movement, replace the aft outflow valve (AMM 21-31-11/401).

(2) Do a test of the AC manual mode:
(a) Set the L and R PACK switches to OFF.

Set the RECIRC FAN switch to OFF.
(c)
Set the mode selector switch to AC MAN.
(d)
Make sure that the MANUAL light comes on.
(e)
Do this check of the ground operation of the aft outflow valve:
1) Set and hold the toggle switch for the manual operation of the aft outflow valve to CLOSED.
2) Look at the valve position indicator and make sure the aft outflow valve closes fully in a smooth continuous movement. 3) Look at the forward and aft outflow valves and make sure
the valves are fully closed. 4) Set and hold the toggle switch to OPEN. 5) Look at the valve position indicator and make sure the aft
