Set the right switch to the 1 position.

Connect a connector to each of the DC jacks.

 (d)  
Attach the black lead of the rotor fault indicator to the DC-connection.

 (e)  
Attach the red lead of the rotor fault indicator to the DC+ connection.

 F. Do a Test on the Generator Rotating Rectifier

 (1)  ENGINES WITH A CSD;
 Do a Test of the Engine No. 1 Generator.

 (a)  
Set the left switch on the M400 module to the A position.

 (b)  
Set the switch S1 on the rotor fault indicator to the DS1 MUST BE ON position. 1) Make sure that the DS1 light on the rotor fault indicator

 comes on.

 2)  If the DS1 light does not show the correct indications, do one of these steps: a) Repair the connection of the wires to the generator
 field terminals.
 b) Replace the generator.

 (d)  Release the S1 switch and permit the switch to go back to the OFF position.

Stop the APU (AMM 49-11-00/201).
