(10) AIRPLANES WITHOUT BELLOWS ON THE APU SHROUD; Do these steps to connect the fuel line (View A, Fig. 401):
(a)
Install a new O-ring in the groove of the shroud.
(b)
Put the fuel line and the shroud into the flexible fitting.
(c)
Loosen and disengage the flexible fitting.

(d) Connect the fuel line to the center tank fitting.
NOTE: Do not attach the flexible shroud flange to the
____ center tank fitting until you complete the leak check for the fuel line.

(11) Install "section 1" of the aft shroud (Views C and D, Fig. 401).
(a)
Move the seal gasket and the shroud into their position against the pressure bulkhead.
(b)
Install the shroud support clamps (two locations). 1) Loosely attach the support clamps to the pressure bulkhead.
(c)
Align the slip joint, the seal gasket, and the shroud.
(d)
Install the mounting bolts and the washers.
(e)
Tighten the support bolts on the shroud.
(f)
Install the bolt that attaches the bonding jumper to the aft shroud.
E. Pressurize the APU Fuel Line and Do a Check for Leaks

Connect the electrical power to the airplane (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Open the APU shutoff valve.
(a)
Make sure this circuit breaker is closed:
1) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) APU CONT
(b)
Set the BATTERY SWITCH to ON.
(c)
Set the APU master switch to ON.
(3)
Set the switch for the forward boost pump for the No. 1 tank to ON.

After the low pressure light goes off, set the boost pump switch to OFF.
(5)
Set the APU master switch to OFF.
(6)
Set the BATTERY SWITCH to OFF.
(7)
Do a check of the fuel line connection for leaks.

F. Pressurize the APU Shroud and Do a Check for Leaks

Disconnect the shroud drain line behind the "A" hydraulic reservoir on the forward wall of the wheel well.

Connect the 10 psi pressure source to the APU shroud through the connection for the shroud drain line.

Apply 10 psi to the APU shroud for 5 minutes.
(a) The pressure must not decrease.
