Open the No. 6 isolation valve (in the tail compartment).

Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 11.

(20) Do these steps to find the leakage of the autopilot actuators for the aileron and elevator:
(a) Do these steps with the DFCS BITE to engage the autopilot one channel at a time.
NOTE: Engage the autopilot in BITE to make sure all the inputs
____ are at zero.
1) Push the key for INIT/REF (CDU key). 2) Push the key for INDEX (LSK 6L). 3) Push the key for MAINT (LSK 6R).

4) Push the key for DFCS (LSK 2L).
5) Push the key for the NEXT PAGE (CDU key).
6) Push the key for RIGGING (LSK 2L).
7) Ignore the TURN OFF HYD SYS A & B instruction and push the
key for CONTINUE.
8) Push the key for ELEVATOR (LSK 1L).
9) Push the key for ELEV AUTH SINGLE (LSK 2L).
10) Push the key for CONTINUE on screen 51.20.
11) Push the key for CONTINUE on screen 51.21.
12) On the second page of screen 51.21, engage the system B
autopilot.
(b) Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 12.
NOTE: If the leakage is more than the limit shown on the data
____
sheet, refer to Procedure 4A or 4B.
(c) Put the A/P ENGAGE switch for system B in the OFF position.

(21) Do these steps to find the leakage of the cylinder for the power control unit for the elevator:
(a)
Pull the control column fully aft.
(b)
Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data sheet for step 13.
NOTE: If the leakage is more than the limit shown on the data
____ sheet, move the control column to its center position then back aft and measure the flow again.
(c) Put the control column in its center position.

(a) Slowly push the right rudder pedal fully forward.
(b) Read the amperage or the flow value and write it on the data
sheet for step 15.
NOTE:____ If the leakage is more than the limit shown on the data
sheet, move the rudder pedals to their center position
then back fully right and measure the flow again.
(c) Put the rudder pedals in their center position.
