Open the FMCS CMPTR circuit breaker on the P18 panel.

After 15 seconds, close the FMCS CMPTR circuit breaker.

 (c)  
Make sure the CDU display shows the IDENT 1/1 page or the IDENT 1/2 page. 1) Make sure the part numbers of the navigation data base and

 the operational program are correct.
 NOTE: The applicable Airline Department will have the
____ correct part number for the navigation data base and the operational program.
 2)  Make sure the date of the navigation data base on the CDU IDENT page is correct.
 NOTE: You can find the active navigation data base dates
____ on the line under ACTIVE. The applicable Airline Department will have this data.
 3)  Make sure the engine rating on the CDU IDENT page agrees with the engines on the airplane.
 NOTE: The engine rating shown on the CDU display is same
____ as the engine with the lower thrust rating.

 4)  If the engines operate at the lower thrust rating, make sure the thrust rating is correct.
 NOTE: The FMC program pins are connected for different
____ engine configurations. The CDU will show PROGRAM PIN ERROR if the pins are connected in a configuration not in the FMC.
 (d)  Push the LSK adjacent to POS INIT> to show the POS INIT 1/3 page.
 NOTE: You can also push the CDU INIT REF key to show the POS

 INIT 1/3 page on the display.

 (e)  Make sure the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and date on each CDU agrees with the GMT on the captain's clock.

 (3)  AIRPLANES WITH DUAL FMC; Do these steps to do a test of the first officers clock:
 (a)
Put the FMC SOURCE SELECT SWITCH in the BOTH ON R position.

 (b)  
Open these circuit breakers:
 1) P18-1 panel
 a) FMCS CMPTR No. 1

 2)  P6-1 panel
 a) FMCS CMPTR No. 2

 (c)  
Change the time and date on the first officers clock.

 (d)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6-1 panel
 a) FMCS CMPTR No. 2

 (e)  
Make sure the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on each CDU agrees with the GMT on the first officer's clock.

 (f)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P18-2 panel
 a) FMCS CMPTR No. 1

Put the FMC SOURCE SELECT SWITCH in the NORMAL position.

Reset the First Officers Clock.

 G. IRS Heading in Attitude Mode

Do the prepare for test in this task: "Operational Test - FMCS" if it is necessary.

Push the INIT REF key on the CDU panel to show the POS INIT 1/3 page.

Put the mode select switches on the IRS to the ATT position.
