a)  Up to a maximum of 10% of missing coating is permitted in the contact area if there is no wear of the base
 metal.
 NOTE: A 1200 cycle maximum service extension is

____ permitted. The blade must be cleaned before the inspection and then relubricated with CFMI recommended product before the installation for extension.
 NOTE: Repeated extensions are permitted if dovetail
____ is cleaned, examined and then lubricated before the blade installation.
 NOTE: To use this service extension, you must clean
____ the blades before the inspection and the apply lubricant on the blades.
 NOTE: You can usually see a step or a line at the
____ top and/or at the end of the pressure faces.
 NOTE: The area of the most important wear is usually
____ at the leading edge of the concave side and at the trailing edge of the convex side.
 NOTE: Typical appearance of unaffected Cu Ni Indium
____ coating (no wear) associated with molydag coating missing is light grey coloured.

b)  Over 10% and less than 50% of Cu Ni Indium coating missing in the contact area, a 400 cycle maximum extension is permitted if there is no wear of the base metal.
 NOTE: To use this service extension, you must clean

 c)  Missing coating in the non contact areas only are permitted if you obey these limits:

Chipping and flaking on the leading edge is

_ permitted if it is less than 0.08 inch (2.0mm) from the forward edge.

Chipping and flaking on the trailing edge is

_ permitted if it is less than 0.280 inch (7.0 mm) from the aft edge.

 3.
Chipping and flaking on the top edge is permitted

_ if it is less than 0.020 inch (0.5 mm) from the top edge.
