 S 434-019-C00
 (1)  
Install the new metallic C-ring seal or the new metal gasket on the stator case pad.

 (2)
Carefully put the clearance control valve on the stator case pad.

 NOTE: Install the valve with the 9th-stage inlet port in the
____
 direction of the top of the engine.

 (3)  Install the flange gasket at the 9th-stage air tube and valve as follows:
 (a)  
ENGINES POST-CFMI-SB 75-014; Install a new C-ring seal in the flange gasket.

 (b)  
Install the flange gasket between the air tube and valve.

Make sure the four holes in the flange gasket are aligned with the four holes in the flanges.

 (d)  
Install the bolts (4 locations) in the flange holes and tighten the nuts with your hand.

 NOTE: The installation of the valve will be easier if the
____ bolts are not completely tightened at this time.

 (4)  Install the flange gasket at the air manifold and aft valve flange as follows:
 (a)  
ENGINES POST-CFMI-SB 75-014;
 Install a new C-ring seal in the flange gasket.

 (b)  
Install the flange gasket between the air manifold and valve.

 (c)  
Make sure the four holes in the flange gasket are aligned with the four holes in the flanges.

 (d)  
Align the valve bracket with the holes in the air tube.
 1) Make sure the flange is in the aft direction.

 (e)  
Install the bolts (4 locations) and washers (3 locations) in
 the aft flange of the HPTCC valve and tighten the bolts by
 hand.

 NOTE: The installation of the valve will be easier if the
____ bolts are not completely tightened at this time.

 CAUTION: EXAMINE THE PREFORMED GASKET FOR DAMAGE AND DETERIORATION
_______ BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT. IF THE GASKET IS DAMAGED, LEAKS CAN OCCUR.
 (5)  
Install the preformed gasket between the fuel manifold and the valve forward flange.

 (6)  
Install the manifold on the valve.

 (7)  
Install the bolts and washers (4 locations) to attach the fuel manifold to the forward flange of valve.

 NOTE: Move the valve with your hand until you can install the

 bolts.

 (a)  Tighten the bolts with your hand.

 (8)  Tighten the bolts (4 locations) that attach the fuel manifold to the TCC valve to 100-130 pound-inches (11.3-14.6 Newton meters). (a) Safety the bolts with a lockwire.

 (9)  Align the flange gasket between the air manifold and the aft valve flange. (a) Tighten the bolts to 55-70 pound-inches (6-8 Newton meters). (b) Safety the bolts with a lockwire.

 (10) Tighten the four bolts at the 2 flanges where the air manifold is connected to the combustion case to 55-70 pound-inches (6-8 Newton meters).
 (a) Safety the bolts with a lockwire.
 S 434-048-C00
 (11) Tighten the bolts that hold the air manifold clamps to the combustion case to 55-70 pound-inches (6-8 Newton meters).
