Install the end fitting of the inboard lap belt, the crotch strap, and each shoulder harness strap into the rotary buckle.

Pull on each strap to make sure each end fitting is locked into the rotary buckle.

Make sure the seat cushions and seat base is clean and not damaged.

Make sure the seat controls are not damaged or broken.

On the captain and first officer seats, do these steps:

 (a)  
Make sure the seat tracks and the bogie units are clean and are not blocked by loose material.

 (b)  
Make sure the seat tracks and the bogie units are free of cracks, distortion, corrosion, dents and wear.

 (c)  
Make sure the stop blocks are installed on the seat tracks and are not damaged.

 (4)  Make sure each seat is installed correctly (AMM 25-11-01/401 and AMM 25-11-03/401).
