(1) Cut electrical wires and crimp connectors onto the ends. Length: 24 cm (9.4 in).
(2) Fix pins in the housing and apply appropriate chafing protection on the wires. There is no sensitivity to the polarity.
(3) Examine the thread and the conical seats of the fittings.
(4) Install new O-rings on the fittings.
(5) Remove protective caps from the pump and install the fittings to the pump ”in” and ”out” ports. Observe the installation direction of the fittings.
(6) Tighten the jam nuts.
(7) Install the enclosed new screw on top of the pump housing. "Top" means related to the installation in the airplane.
(8) Install the drain fitting on the bottom side of the pump housing.

(9) Remove one of the top bolts from the pump housing. Remove the lock wire. "Top" means related to the installation in the airplane.
(10) Grind housing around the hole where the bolt is removed. To get electrical conductivity.
(11) Install bolt together with the bonding cable and tighten the bolt.
(12) Install new lock wire on the bolts.
(13) Seal the grinded area around bolt of the pump housing with paint. To prevent corrosion.

(1) Make sure that there is fuel in both wing tanks.
(2) Disconnect the fuel hose from the emergency fuel valve to the fuel filter. At the fuel filter, 'tank' port. Put a cap on the open fuel filter port.
(3) Connect an external fuel pump to the open hose.
(4) Make sure that the emergency fuel valve is in the NORMAL position.
(5) Switch the external fuel pump ON. The external fuel pump must draw fuel from the left tank (main tank). Catch fuel in a suitable container.
(6) Set the emergency fuel valve to EMERG. TRANSFER. Break the seal. The external fuel pump must draw fuel from the right tank (auxiliary tank).
(7) Set the emergency fuel valve to OFF. The external fuel pump must NOT draw any fuel.
(8) Switch the external fuel pump OFF.
(9) Disconnect the hose from the external fuel pump.
(10) Re-connect hose from emergency fuel valve to fuel filter.
