Put the sleeve (16) on the air-cycle machine outlet (13).

Put the packings (14) in position on the pipe assembly (21) and on the air-cycle machine outlet (13).

Put the new seal (5) in position in the sleeve (4) (Ref. TASK 20-26-00-910-002) .

Put the pipe assembly (21) in position in the sleeve (4).
NOTE : Turn the pipe assembly (21) when you install it. This will

help to prevent damage to the seal (5).
(9)
Move the sleeve (16) in position over the packings (14).
NOTE : Make sure that the sleeve (16) covers the flanges on the
____ air-cycle machine outlet (13) and the pipe assembly (21).
(10)
Put the half-clamps (12) in position and install the clamp (15). NOTE : Do not fully tighten at this time.

(11)
Apply a small quantity of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the contact faces of the retaining cables (3).
(12)
Make sure that the pipe assembly (21) is correctly aligned and put the retaining cables (3) in position.
(13)
Install the new washers (2) and the new nuts (1). NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (3) to prevent
____ twisting of the cables when you install the nuts (1).
(14)
TORQUE the nuts (1) to between 0.85 and 1.0 m.daN (75.22 and 88.49 lbf.in).
NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (3) to prevent
____ twisting of the cables when you torque the nuts (1). Make sure that there is no tension in the cables (3). This will give a safe and flexible connection.

(15) Wipe clean the excess COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) from the retaining cables (3).
(16) Make sure that the half-clamps (12) and the clamp (15) are in the correct position.
(17) TORQUE the clamp (15) to between 0.28 and 0.38 m.daN (24.77 and 33.62 lbf.in) and safety with annealed stainless-steel lockwire, diameter 08. mm (0.3149 in.) MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(18) Connect the sense line (6).
(19) TORQUE the sense line (6) connector to between 0.95 and 1.05 m.daN (84.07 and 92.92 lbf.in).
(20) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (9) and (17).
(21) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(22) Connect the electrical connectors (9) and (17).
(23) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

R R (1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
R (2) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
R (3) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (4) Apply lubricant:
R R R CAUTION : USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED LUBRICANT TO LUBRICATE THE O-RINGS_______ AND THE PACKINGS. OTHER LUBRICANTS CAN CAUSE SMOKE OR A SMELL IN THE CABIN WHEN THEY BECOME HOT.

R (9) Move the sleeve (14) in position over the packings (12).
