-1L- The CO RTE number of an available data base company route between the airport pair is displayed here.
-2L-2R, 5L-5R- The various elements (waypoints, airways and procedures) of the company route are displayed (left to right) as shown in figure (item 2) in line 2L through 5L. (Ref. Fig. 021)
-6R-INSERT or SELECT- If the Route Selection page was accessed via the INIT A (or SEC INIT A) page, then an INSERT prompt is displayed in 6R in amber, large font as shown in figure item 1. (Ref. Fig. 021) Otherwise, when the page is accessed via the ALTN page, then a SELECT prompt is displayed in 6R in cyan, large font as shown in figure item 2. (Ref. Fig. 021)
-Vertical slewing is only available on this page if all the elements of a company route do not fit on one display. Each vertical slew (up and down arrows) moves the display of the CO RTE elements by one page, respectively backward and forward in an open loop concept.
-6L-RETURN- Allows the display to revert to the accessing page without any company route selected.
(c) INIT B page Examples of INIT B pages are shown in figures: (Ref. Fig. 022, 023, 024)
1_ Access
Left or right arrow key from INIT A during the PREFLIGHT phase
prior to engine start. After engine-start, page access is not
allowed and a message is displayed (NOT ALLOWED).
2_ Purpose
Allows the flight crew to initialize the aircraft weights and
perform fuel planning.
3_ Data fields
- 1L-TAXI- This value defaults to a value specified in the
data base but may be altered by the pilot.
- 2L-TRIP/TIME- The calculated trip fuel and time is displayed
in green small font because the pilot may not change these
values. Before this can be calculated, A/C weight and a
flight plan must be entered. If a calculated value is not
available, then dashes are displayed.
- 3L-RTE RSV/%- The trip reserves expressed in weight and
percentage of trip fuel. Initially, the route reserve
defaults to a percentage value defined by the AMI data base.

-4L-ALTN/TIME- The calculated alternate trip fuel and ETE. The pilot cannot modify these values so they are displayed in green small font. Up to 5 alphanumeric characters are needed for Alternate Trip Fuel display.
-5L-FINAL/TIME- Calculated hold fuel/time over alternate destination. If there is no alternate destination or if specified so in data base, the hold is at the primary destination.
-6L-EXTRA/TIME- Extra fuel reserves and extra time to hold at alternate airport. If there is no alternate flight plan, the hold is at the primary destination. These values cannot be changed by the pilot.
-1R-ZFWCG/ZFW. First time the page is accessed, ZFWCG and ZFW default to amber boxes. The pilot has to enter the pair ZFW/ZFWCG values. Both values are not clearable but are modifiable by new entries. The displayed CG corresponds to the aircraft without fuel.
-2R-BLOCK. The total fuel on the aircraft at the gate may be entered here. As soon as a pair (ZFW, Block) is entered by the pilot, the Fuel Prediction function is initiated. In this case FUEL PREDICTION is displayed in the title of the page. (Ref. Fig. 022) The block may also be computed by the FMGC if the pilot initiates the FUEL PLANNING function (through 3R): in this case FUEL PLANNING is displayed in title line. (Ref. Fig. 023)
