When a TEMPORARY exists, TMPY is displayed in the title line of both F-PLN pages, A and B. On the ND, temporary vectors and symbols are only output if they are not already being output in the ACTIVE flight plan. On the MCDU, the entire TMPY F-PLN (primary or alternate) is displayed in temporary color. The entire TEMPORARY flight plan (consisting of a modified copy of the ACTIVE primary or alternate portion) is displayed in temporary color (yellow). If the revision has been performed on the primary portion of the ACTIVE flight plan, then only the TEMPORARY primary flight plan is displayed. If the revision is performed on the alternate portion of the ACTIVE flight plan, then only the TEMPORARY alternate flight plan is displayed. No predictions are computed or displayed on TEMPORARY flight plan pages. If the FROM waypoint matches the FROM of the ACTIVE flight plan, Time (or UTC), SPD, ALT, EFOB and WIND values are repeated in the TEMPORARY. If the FROM waypoint does not match the FROM of the ACTIVE flight plan, dashes are displayed in the Time (or UTC) ALT, EFOB and WIND fields. The speed field is blanked. The TEMPORARY flight plan does not display destination information in line 6L-6R. Instead, the following prompts are displayed in amber, large font:
 -6L: ERASE- Allows to delete the temporary revision and to revert the display to the active F-PLN page which was previously displayed.
 -6R: INSERT*- Allows to activate the modification. The display reverts to the active F-PLN page previously displayed.

 (3) DEPARTURE procedure
 (a) General
 The only possible revised point for a departure procedure
 selection is the origin waypoint.
 The various elements of a departure procedure are :

 -Runway transition

SID - Enroute transition The different elements of a procedure are strung together following the general rules described in para. 2. A. (1)(b).

 Each element may be changed or selected separately and a runway
 selection results in the engine out SID selection. The
 modification of one element creates a TEMPORARY flight plan, but
 only one INSERT action is required to insert all the modified
 elements in the departure procedure.
 (b) DEPARTURE pages There are two DEPARTURE pages. The first one allows selection of a runway, the second one allows selection of a SID and an enroute transition.

 a_ Access
 - DEPARTURE LS key from the LAT REV page at origin - left or right arrow key from DEPARTURE page 2 (SID selection).
 b_ Purpose Displays runways features and allows selection of the desired runway.
 c_ Data fields
 - Title: in the title line, the origin airport ident is displayed. - 1L-1R: this first line shows the entire selected
 departure (if any) from the origin airport. The runway, SID and enroute transition are displayed. These fields may be filled with white dashes. It is the case when:
 - the company route does not contain the data. - the pilot has not yet selected the data. In this case, no stringing is made (there is a flight plan discontinuity). The SID and TRANS fields may be filled with NONE. It means that:
 - no compatible SID and/or no compatible TRANS exist and general rules of stringing apply, - or the pilot has selected NO SID or NO TRANS. In this case, there is a flight plan discontinuity. - 2L-5L: the runways available at the origin airport are displayed for selection. (runway heading) A small "T" can be displayed for True North referenced airports. Adjacent to the runway heading, the ILS or MLS associated with the runway may be displayed. Nothing is displayed if no associated ILS or MLS exists. The MLS may be displayed only if the MLS is installed (via MLS program pin). If a runway has both ILS and MLS defined with it, the ILS will be displayed. - 6L-RETURN or ERASE
 ERASE is displayed when a TEMPORARY exists. This prompt allows the deletion of the TEMPORARY and reverts the
 display to the LAT REV page. Otherwise, RETURN is displayed and allows to return on LAT REV page. - 6R-INSERT: Allows to activate the TEMPORARY flight plan and reverts the display to the active F-PLN page. - The page can be slewed (up and down arrows) page by page if the list of available runways does not fit in one page. If the last runway is displayed in line 5, the END
