The displayed route can be deleted from the list if 1L field is cleared. If only one is stored (and not used as ACTIVE , TEMPORARY, or SEC F-PLN) and it is deleted, the display goes to the NEW ROUTE page. If two or more are stored, the STORED ROUTE page with next route is displayed. If the route to be deleted is the ACTIVE, TEMPORARY or SECONDARY F-PLN, then it cannot be deleted and message (F-PLN ELEMENT RETAINED) is displayed.

The company routes defined and stored during flight can be automatically deleted on ground. This function is activated by program pin.

 4 The pilot may create a new company route and store it. He may
_ have access to the NEW ROUTE page from the DATA INDEX B page or from the STORED ROUTE page. (Ref. Fig. 081)

 -1L-CO RTE: the pilot can enter a company route number (up to 10 alphanumeric characters). If the entered ident already exists, then the message NON UNIQUE ROUTE IDENT is displayed and the entry is rejected.
 -2L-STORE ACTIVE F-PLN: pressing this LS key stores various parameters from the ACTIVE flight plan into the new route. The display changes to STORED ROUTE page with the newly-entered route displayed. This prompt is only displayed when an active FROM/TO exists and the flight phase is preflight.
 -3L-STORE SECONDARY F-PLN: pressing this LS key stores various parameters from the SECONDARY flight plan into the new route. The display changes to STORED ROUTE page with the newly-entered route displayed. This prompt is only displayed if a secondary FROM/TO exists and the secondary has not sequenced.
 -If the pilot does not enter a company route number, the stored route is named SRTE.
 -Pressing LS key 2L or 3L stores the ACTIVE PRIMARY or SECONDARY PRIMARY F-PLN as a pilot-defined company route. The F-PLN data elements that may be included (when defined) as part of the company route specification are the same as those elements which may define a NAV data base company route.
 -If five routes have already been stored and the pilot tries to store a new one, then a message is displayed and action is not taken into account (message STORED ROUTES FULL).

 (j) Terminal area procedures The terminal area procedures file in the NAV Data Base may contain the following procedures:
 -SID
 -STAR
 -APPROACH These procedures are stored in the order indicated above, by airport. The structure and contents of each of these procedures are described in the sections below. The procedures can specify a transition altitude.
 1_ SID
 There are two types of Standard Instrument Departures: SID and
 Engine-OUT SID (EOSID).
 A SID can contain three segments: SID runway transition, the
 SID and SID En route transitions.
 The EOSID contains only one segment. The following data can be
 provided for each of the corresponding segments:
 - SID
 . SID Identifier
 . Compatible runways
