 (1) Make sure that the left fan-cowl door is open:
 FOR 1000EM1

 -make sure that the door 437AL is open (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-010-040).

 (2) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the engine.

R  A. Installation of the Electrical Connector (1074GK-A) 
R  (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 29-11-17-991-902, 402/TASK 29-11-17-991-300) 
R  (1) Do these steps to install the electrical connector. 
R 
R  PRE SB RA32029-13

R  (a) Remove the protective covers from the hydraulic tube (25), the 
R  electrical connector 1074GK-A and the pressure switch (15). 
R  (b) Clean the bonding surfaces of the clamp (10) and the pressure 
R  switch (15) with a clean cloth made moist with CLEANING AGENTS 
R  (Material No. 11-004). 
R  NOTE : There must be a good electrical bond between the pressure____ 
R  switch (15), the clamp (10) and the channel bracket (20) 
R  ground stud. 
R  (c) Wipe the bonding surfaces with a clean cloth before the solvent 
R  becomes dry. 
R  (d) Put the bonding clamp (45) on the switch (15). 
R  (e) Attach the bonding jumper (50) to the clamp (45) with the bolt 
R  (5), the washers (35), (40) and the nut (30). 
R  (f) TORQUE the nut (30) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 
R  m.daN). 
R  (g) Do an electrical resistance check as follows: 
R  1_  Put one lead of the ohmmeter on the pressure switch (15).
R  2_  Put the other lead of the ohmmeter on the bonding clamp (45).
R  3_  The resistance measured between the ohmmeter leads must be
R  0.0025 ohm or less. 
R  4_ Put one lead of the ohmmeter on the pressure switch (15).

R  5_  Put the other lead of the ohmmeter on the ground stud on the
R  channel bracket (20). 
R  6_  The resistance measured between the ohmmeter leads must be
R  0.0025 ohm or less. 
R  7_  If the resistance is more than 0.0025 ohm, remove the bonding
R  clamp (45) and clean the bonding surfaces again. 
R  8_  Do this procedure until the resistance indication is in the
R  correct range. 
R  (h) Install the pressure switch (15) on the channel bracket (20) with 
R  the clamp (10) and the bolts (5). 
R  (i) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 
R  m.daN). 
R  (j) Connect the hydraulic tube (25) to the pressure switch (15). 
R  NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the pressure switch (15) when____ 
R  you TORQUE the coupling nut on the tube (25). 
R  (k) TORQUE the coupling nut on the tube (25) to between 620 and 680 
R  lbf.in (7.00 and 7.68 m.daN). 
R  (l) Install the electrical connector 1074GK-A on the pressure switch 
R  (15) and tighten it with your hand plus one-eighth of a turn. 
R  (2) Do these steps to install the electrical connector.

R  (a) Remove the protective covers from the hydraulic tube (5), the 
R  electrical connector 1074GK-A and the pressure switch (30). 
R  (b) Install the pressure switch (30) and the bonding jumper (10), on 
R  the channel bracket (40) with the master electrical keyway facing 
R  forward. Use the clamp (25), the bolts (15) and the washers (20). 
R  NOTE : Make sure the bonding jumper (10) is installed under the____ 
R  clamp. 
R  (c) TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 
R  m.daN).

R  (d) If required, attach the other end of the bonding jumper (10) to 
R  the ground stud 9951DC on the ground plate with the existing
