-pull down the cover flap (2) and remove it from the hatch lining.
-turn the head of the latch pin
(1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to retract the latch pin to the DISARMED position.
2. On the hatch (left emergency exit):
-push the latch pin (1) against the spring and turn its head a quarter turn clockwise to extend the latch pin in the ARMED position.
 -install the cover flap (2) on the hatch lining and push it against the hatch.
On the lower ECAM display unit, on theDOOR/OXY page:
-
the symbol of the emergency and theEMER EXIT message for left emergencyexit come into view in amber.

 -
the SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1

 (3) comes on.

-
the SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1

(3) goes off.
On the lower ECAM display unit, on
the DOOR/OXY page:

-
the SLIDE indication goes off.

-
the SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1

(3) comes on.
On the lower ECAM display unit, on
the DOOR/OXY page:

the SLIDE indication comes on.

the SLIDE ARMED indicator light 2WN1

(3) goes off.
