If you use an oil can, it must have an Alemite Z-737 fitting that can supply oil at a pressure of approximately 500 psi.
 3)  Fill the ballscrew nut reservoir until oil bleeds through the open lubrication fitting on the top side of the oil reservoir (after the oil starts to bleed from the fitting, continue to fill the reservoir until the bleed oil does not contain air bubbles).
 NOTE: For ballscrew nuts No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 that have
____ four lubrication fittings, the oil reservoir can be filled through one of the fittings on the top side of the oil reservoir.
 (b)  
Release the ball of the lubrication fitting on the top side of the oil reservoir.

 (c)  
Continue to fill the oil reservoir until oil bleeds from the wiper (the oil can bleed from each end of the ballscrew nut or from only one end).

 NOTE: On ballscrew nuts with a vent hole, continue to fill
____ the oil reservoir until oil bleeds from the vent hole (usually the oil will bleed from the vent hole before it bleeds from one of the ends).
 (d)  For Thomson Saginaw and Umbra Cuscinetti ballscrews, do the steps that follow to lubricate the ballscrew nut: 1) Use the lubrication fitting on the bottom side of the oil
 reservoir to fill the oil reservoir with oil.
 NOTE: Use the C12005 tool or an equivalent oil can to
____
 fill the oil reservoir.
