 (2)  S 036-017Remove the door restraint arm attach bolt (Section C-C). (a) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (3)  S 036-003Remove the plunger from the master latch lock handle (Section D-D). (a) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (4)  S 036-004Remove the lock pin from the master latch lock handle (Section D-D). (a) Open the master latch lock handle. (b) Remove the pin that goes through the lock pin. (c) Remove the pivot pin from the trigger. (d) Remove the trigger. (e) Remove the lock pin. (f) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (5)  S 036-005Remove the shaft through the master latch lock handle (Section D-D). (a) Disconnect the pushrod from the bellcrank. (b) Loosen the nut and remove the shaft. (c) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (6)  S 036-006Remove the bolt from the midspan bellcrank (Section E-E). (a) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (7)  S 216-016Examine the condition of the hinge. (a) Look for corrosion. (b) Look for deterioration. (c) Do the "Examine the wear limits" step below.
 (8)  S 226-018Examine the wear limits (Fig 601). (a) Measure the part where it is necessary. (b) Compare the values you measure to the correct values shown in Fig 601. (c) Obey the instructions in Fig 601 to repair or replace the part.
 NOTE:____ If the part is satisfactory, install it.
 (d)  Do the step below that tells how to install the part.

Install the latch cams (Section A-A).

 (a)
Put the latch cams through the bushings.

 (b)
Install the axial bolt through the latch cams.

 (c)
Install the retainer spring on the retainer.

 Install the attach bolt on the door restraint arm (Section C-C).

 Install the plunger in the master latch lock handle (Section D-D).

 Install the lock pin in the master latch lock handle (Section D-D).

Put the lock pin and the trigger in position.

 (b)
Install the pivot pin through the trigger.

 (c)
Safety the pivot pin with a cotter pin.

 (d)
Put the pin through the lock pin.

 (e)
Close the master latch lock handle.
