(10) Install the door lift links as follows:
NOTE: The door is in the free-hang position.

(a) Attach the lift links to the rotary actuator arms.
NOTE: Each lift link should initially be from 14.02 to 14.06
____ inches long. This dimension is between the centers of the rod ends.
(b)
Manually turn the lift actuator to move the actuator arms until you can attach one of the lift links to the door fittings. Do not change the length of the lift links.
(c)
Attach the second lift link to the door fitting. It is acceptable to change the length of this lift link until the link attach bolt installs freely.
(d)
Tighten the checknuts if you adjusted the length of the lift link.
(e)
Make sure the lockwire holes are up.
(f)
Install the lockwires (AMM 20-11-28/401).
(g)
Make sure the position of the bushing, bolt, washer and nut is as shown in View C-C, Fig. 401.
(h)
Make sure the clamp-up bushing, plain and flanged bushings are installed at the rodend and boltholes in the clevis flanges of the actuator arm.
(i)
Install the bolts and tighten the nuts from 630 to 1070 pound-inches.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE CONDUIT SWIVEL CLAMPS ARE FREE TO TURN.
_______ WIRE DAMAGE WILL OCCUR IF THE CLAMPS ARE NOT FREE TO TURN.

Install the swivel clamp on the forward rotary actuator arm (Fig. 402).

Make sure the clamps on the rotary actuator arm and the door support fitting are free to turn.

For the forward actuator on the aft door, install the conduit on the actuator as follows:
(a)
Align the bracket on the actuator.
(b)
Install the fasteners and tighten them.
(c)
Install the two clamps on the actuator.
(d)
Install the fasteners and tighten them.

(14) Install the door up switch as follows:
(a) Manually open the door to the fully up position (one of the
rotary actuator arms is against its mechanical stop).
NOTE: You cannot close the door manually if it hits the____
upstops heavily.
(b) If the door hits the upstops heavily, do these steps:
1) If possible, use electrical power to close the door.
2) Manually, lift the bottom edge of the door and turn the
manual drive to close the door.
(c) Manually turn the door to the close position until the
clearance between the mechanical stop and the upstop on the
rotary actuator is between 0.10 and 0.13 inch.
(d) Install the door up switch in the mounting bracket.
(e) Adjust the door up switch until the switch operates.
(f) Tighten the adjustment nuts.
(g) Make sure the switch keying washer and the lockwasher are on
opposite sides of the switch mounting flange as shown in
Fig. 401.
(h) Make sure the tang on the keying washer engages the detent in
the mounting flange.
(i) Do a check on the operation of the switch as follows:
NOTE: This is an electrical check.____
