 (l)  Install the new packings (3) on each end of the transfer tube

 (m)  Install the transfer tube (2) in the supply tube (1).
 (n)  Connect the fuel manifold (4) to the fuel injectors (5).
 NOTE: You will tighten the fuel manifold nuts after you do the____
 leak check of the fuel manifold.
 1) Lubricate the threads of the fuel injectors (5) with engine
 oil.
 2) Connect the fuel manifold (4) to the fuel injectors (5).
 3) Tighten the fuel manifold nuts (4) with your hand.
 (o)  Connect the supply tube (1) to the fuel manifold (4).
 NOTE: You will tighten the supply tube nut after you do the____
 leak check of the fuel manifold.
 1) Lubricate the threads of the fuel manifold inlet (4) with
 engine oil.

2) Connect the fuel supply tube (1) to the fuel manifold (4). 3) Tighten the supply tube nut (1) with your hand.

 NOTE: After you do the leak check of the fuel manifold, you must

 install all remaining parts you removed.

Install the right turbine-blade cooling-air duct (115) if it was removed (Fig. 403).

 (a)  
Remove the caps from the diffuser case and the turbine-vane and blade cooling-air (TVBCA) valve.

 (b)  
Attach the new gasket (130) to the diffuser end of the duct (115) with the paraffin wax. 1) Make sure you can see the higher sealing surface. 2) Make sure the tube slot and the bolt holes are aligned.

 (c)  
Attach the new gasket (131) in the groove of the diffuser end flange of the duct (115) with the paraffin wax.

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE LOCKS ENGAGE THE INTERNAL TUBE FLANGE OF THE
_______ DIFFUSER CASE. INSTALL THE LOCKS WITH THE SLOT GROOVE OUT. IF THE LOCKS INCORRECTLY ENGAGE THE INTERNAL TUBE FLANGE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
 (d)  Attach the locks (129) on the internal tube flange in the diffuser case port with the paraffin wax. 1) Install the locks (129) with the slot groove out.
 NOTE: Make sure the locks engage the internal tube flange

 as shown.

 a)  Hold the locks (129) out against the internal tube flange.

b)  Measure the depth above the locks (129) to the end of the internal tube flange.
 c)  If the depth is not 0.000-0.020 inches (0.000-0.508 mm), install the locks (129) again.
 (e)  
ENGINES PRE-PW-SB 72-537 OR POST-PW-SB 72-627; Attach the new gasket (120) with the metering plate (121) to the flange of the duct (115) at the TVBCA valve end with the paraffin wax.

 (f)  
ENGINES POST-PW-SB 72-537 OR PRE-PW-SB 72-627; Attach the new gasket (120) with the ring spacer (121A) to the flange of the duct (115) at the TVBCA valve end with the paraffin wax.

 (g)  
Attach a new gasket (120) to the flange for the TVBCA valve port with the paraffin wax.

 (h)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolts (123, 125, 126, 127, 128) with engine oil.

 (i)  
Put the duct (115) in position on the engine.

 (j)  
Attach the duct (115) to the diffuser case with the bolts (126, 128). 1) Tighten the bolts (126, 128) with your hand.

 (k)  
Install the bolts (125, 127) and the bracket (124). 1) Tighten the bolts (125, 127) with your hand.

 (l)  
ENGINES PRE-PW-SB 73-164; Attach the duct (115) and the bracket (122) to the TVBCA valve with the bolts (123). 1) Tighten the bolts (123) with your hand.

 (m)  
ENGINES POST-PW-SB 73-164; Attach the duct (115) and the bracket (122A) to the TVBCA valve with the bolts (123). 1) Tighten the bolts (123) with your hand.
