Subtask 21-53-12-440-002-A01
(3) Assembly of the Motor (03-610A)
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRES WHEN YOU INSTALL THE ROTOR AND THE ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE.
(a)
Install the Ball Bearing (04-210) on the Rotor Assembly (04-150). NOTE: (refer to TASK 21-53-12-300-803-A01) for replacement of the bearing.

(b)
Set the Rotor Assembly (04-150) in the Stator Crankcase Assembly (04-240).

(c)
Measure and record ”A” to the Flange (04-170) (Ref. to Fig. 7002).

(d)
Install the Ball Bearing (04-140) and the Ring (04-130) in the Coil Assembly (04-100). NOTE: (refer to TASK 21-53-12-300-803-A01) for replacement of the bearing.

(e)
If necessary connect the electrical wires to the Coil Assembly (04-100).

(f)  
Install the Coil Assembly (04-100), the Washers (04-120) and the Screws (04-110) with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222.

(g)
Install the Washers (04-200).

(h)
Measure and record ”B” (Ref. to Fig. 7002).

(i)  
Calculate and record ”C = B - A”.

(j)  
Calculate and record ”X = C - Y” (with Y = 0,70 ± 0,05 mm (0.02755 ± 0.001969)).

(k)
Select the Washer (04-190) from Washers (04-190), (04-191), (04-192) or (04-193) to be in accordance with ”X” and install this washer.

(l)  
Install the Flange (04-170), the Seal (04-160) and the Screws (04-180) with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222.

(m)
Install the  Spacer (04-090), the Washer (04-080), the Spring (04-070), the Brake Framework Assembly (04-060) and the Disc Brake (04-040).

(n)
Install the Nut (04-050) with a torque value of 3,25 N.m (28.76 lbf.in) and with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222.

(o)
Do the Adjustment of the Brake Framework.

(p)
Set sealing compound CAF 730 to the Cover (04-010).

(q) Install the Cover (04-010), the Washers (04-030) and the Screws (04-020). Subtask 21-53-12-820-002-A01
(4) Adjustment of the brake framework of the Motor (03-610A)
(a) Obey the procedure that follows to do the adjustment of the brake framework: 1
Deactivate the Brake Framework (apply 28 VDC between the pin T and the pin U of the connector).
2 Measure and record the value E (Ref. to Fig. 7002).

3  Activate the Brake Framework (remove the 28 VDC from the pin T and the pin U of the connector).
4  Make sure that the Value E = 0,15 ± 0,03 mm (0.0059 ± 0.0012 in).
5  If necessary, replace the Washer (04-080) by a Washer (04-081), (04-082) or (04-083) to get the Value E = 0,15 ± 0,03 mm (0.0059 ± 0.0012 in).
6  Deactivate and activate several times the Brake Framework to make sure that the efficiency of the Spring (04-070) is correct.

(5) Assembly of the Recopy Set Assembly (01-290)
(a) Lightly apply grease M26C AEROSHELL 7 to the cogs of the Equipped Potentiometer (038570).
(b) Install the Equipped Potentiometer (03-570), the Tabs (03-590) and the Screws (03-580) with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222 to the Plate (03-600).
(c) Install the Spacers (03-540), the Washers (03-560) and the Screws (03-550) with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222.
(d) Set 22 mm (0.8661 in) length of Heat-shrinking sleeves (black) RNF100 1/4 NOIRE TYPE1 on the Spacers (03-530).
