(a) Job Set-Up 1 To do the adjustment of the cams, you have to set the equipped ball-screw in several function positions with the motor and you have to get access to the cams. 2 To access to the cams for adjustment, you can use one of the applicable cover tools that follow: a use the Cover tool 09P3003 or equivalent (not procurable, for INTERTECHNIQUE only) to be installed with Screws (01-220) and Washers (01-220), b make an open cover tooled from a Cover (01-270) with a Guide (01-230) attached with Screws (01-240) and Washers (01-250). The open cover tool is to
be installed with Screws (01-220) and Washers (01-220). 3 Apply grease KRYTOX 240 AZ to the Guide (01-230). 4 Set manually the ball-screw to the Mechanical Stop Extended Position, mechanical
stops in contact. 5 Set the fork of the end of the ball-screw lined up to the guide. 6 Install the applicable tool on the Plate Assembly (01-290) with Washers (01-220) and
Screws (01-200). 7 Set the Electrical Test Set-Up to get a displacement speed near 1 mm/s (0.0394 in/s). 8 Connect the Connector (03-010) to the Electrical Test Set-Up.
(b) For Version ABC: 1 Set the actuator to the Mechanical Stop Extended position, mechanical stops in
contact. 2 Make sure that the ratio AB/AC = 0.9273 + 0/- 0.0080. 3 Set the actuator to the Electrical Retracted Position to read a ratio
AB/AC = 0.304 + 0/- 0.020.

Set the Cam (03-240A) to start to get a contact (0 VDC state to be read with test set-up) between the pin N and the pin L of the Connector (03-010).
5 Carefully tighten the Screws (03-250) at the torque value: 0,4 N.m (3.5403 lbf.in) to attach the Cam (03-240A).
6  Set the actuator to the Electrical Extended Position to read a ratio AB/AC = 0.902 + 0/- 0.010.

7 Set the Cam (03-210A) to start to get a contact (0 VDC state to be read with test set-up) between the pin J and the pin K of the Connector.
8 Tighten the Screws (03-220) at the torque value: 0,4 N.m (3.5403 lbf.in) to attach the Cam (03-210A).
(c) For Version DE:

Set the actuator to the Mechanical Stop Retracted position, mechanical stops in contact.
2  Make sure that the ratio AB/AC = 0.0634 + 0/- 0.0080.
3  Set the actuator to the Electrical Extended Position to read a ratio AB/AC = 0.673 + 0/- 0.020.
4  Set the Cam (03-210B) to start to get a contact (0 VDC state to be read with test set-up) between the pin N and the pin L of the Connector (03-010).
5  Carefully tighten the Screws (03-250) at the torque value: 0,4 N.m (3.5403 lbf.in) to attach the Cam (03-210B).
6  Set the actuator to the Electrical Retracted Position to read a ratio AB/AC = 0.0888 + 0/- 0.010.
7  Set the Cam (03-240B) to start to get a contact (0 VDC state to be read with test set-up) between the pin J and the pin K of the Connector.
8  Tighten the Screws (03-220) at the torque value: 0,4 N.m (3.5403 lbf.in) to attach the Cam (03-240B).
(d) Close-Up 1 De-energize the Electrical Test Set-Up. 2 Disconnect the Connector (03-010) from the Electrical Test Set-Up. 3 Remove the Screws (01-200), the Washers (01-220) and the applicable cover tool.

(14) Assembly of the Cover Assembly (01-190)
CAUTION: APPLY GREASE TYPE KRYTOX 240AZ TO THE GUIDE (01-220).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROMMET (03-620) IS CORRECTLY SET TO THE COVER (01-260) BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE COVER TO THE PLATE ASSEMBLY.
(a)
If necessary, install the Inserts (01-280). NOTE: (refer to TASK 21-53-12-300-804-A01) to replace the Inserts (01-280).

(b)
If necessary, install the Bushes (01-260). NOTE: (refer to TASK 21-53-12-300-804-A01) to replace the Bushes (01-260).

(c)
If necessary, install the Identification Label (01-060) and the Pins (01-070).

(d) Install the Guide (01-230), the Washers (01-250) and the Screws (01-240) with locking compound (M14A) LOCTITE 222.
