 This yellow arrow gives an analog display of the Vc trend. The head of the arrow points on the scale to the indication of the Vc value which will be reached in 10 s if the A/C keeps its present acceleration. This symbol is presented if the speed difference exceeds a 2 kts threshold and it is removed when the speed difference becomes less than 1 kt. speed difference is absolute value of: (speed in 10 s minus actual speed). The gradient for the display of the symbol is limited to 12 kts/s. The value for the displayed Vc trend is transmitted by the FAC on the label 262.

 (3) Selected Speed (Vsel) A cyan triangular symbol indicates on the Vc scale the selected speed. That speed is:

 The V1 indication which is entered before take-off through the MCDU (take-off page), is displayed in cyan color by means of a mark across the scale and a 1 figure. If the V1 value is outside the displayed portion of the Vc scale, the mark and the 1 are replaced by the digital value of V1 written at the top of the scale.
