C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Installation of the Generator Substitution Kit
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Remove the nuts (4) from the generator mounting flange (1).
(3)
Apply a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002) on the O-ring (2) and install with the COVER - ASSEMBLY, APU GEN on the mounting flange (1).
(4)
Put the generator cable support (6) (Ref. AIPC 49110405010) in position on the cover assembly (3).
(5)
Tighten the cover assembly (3) and the generator cable support (6) with the nuts (4).
(6)
TORQUE the nuts (4) to between 3.9 and 4.4 m.daN (28.76 and 32.44 lbf.ft).
(7)
Make sure that the drain plug (5) is fully tightened and safety with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel 0.8mm (0.0314 in.) dia.
(8)
Remove the nuts (8) from the generator cable support (6). NOTE : Refer to the marks on the generator cable support when you

install the electrical cable connections.
(9)
Connect the electrical connector (7) and the electrical cable connections (9) to the generator cable support (6).

Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons that the APU -Generator is not installed.
(2)
Make an entry in the aircraft technical logbook.
(3)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems.

(4)
De-energize the ground service network
