Procedure
 S 424-003
 (1)  Install the drain mast (Fig. 401).
 (a)  
On the forward drain mast, apply the BMS 5-92 adhesive to the drain mast and the airplane fairing faying surfaces (AMM 51-31-00/201).

 (b)  
On the aft drain mast, apply the BMS 5-95 sealant to the drain mast and the airplane faying surfaces (AMM 51-31-00/201).

 (c)  
Put the drain mast in its position.

 (d)  
Install the fasteners for the drain mast.

 (e)  
Clean the bonding strap terminal and the adjacent surface.

 (f)  
Install the bonding strap.

 (g)  
Attach the drain tube to the fitting on the drain mast and install the clamp.

 (h)  
Connect the electrical wires.

 (i)  
On the forward drain mast, apply the BMS 5-95 fillet seal around the periphery of the drain mast.

 (j)  
On the aft drain mast, apply the BMS 5-95 aerodynamic smoother seal around the periphery of the drain mast.

 (k)  
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close the DRAIN MAST HEATER circuit breakers on the P18 panel.

 (2)  
Do a check for leaks on the drain mast.

 (a)  
Plug the drain mast.

 (b)  
Let the water run from the sink of an adjacent lavatory.

 (c)  
Check for leaks at the tube connection of the drain mast.

 (d)  
Remove the plug from the drain mast.

 (3)  
Do a check for heating of the drain mast (AMM 30-71-00/501).

 SILL DRAIN BLADDER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A. This procedure has these tasks:
 (1)  
A removal of the forward sill drain bladder assembly.

 (2)  
An installation of the forward sill drain bladder assembly.

 (3)  
A removal of the aft sill drain bladder assembly.

 (4)  
An installation of the aft sill drain bladder assembly.

 2.  Forward Sill Drain Bladder Assembly Removal (Fig. 401)___________________________________________
 A. Access
 (1)  
Location Zone 117 Electrical and Electronics Compartment - Left

 (2)  
Access Panels 117A Electronic Equipment Door

 B. Prepare for the Removal.

 (1)  Open the Electrical Equipment Access Door, 117A, to get access to the forward sill drain bladder assembly.
 C. Forward Sill Drain Bladder Assembly Removal
 S 024-007
 (1)  
Loosen the clamp (1) to disconnect the hose from the outlet of the forward drain bladder assy (6).

 S 024-008

 (2)  
Loosen the clamps (4) to disconnect the lines from the inlet of the forward drain bladder assy (6).

 S 024-009

 (3)  
Remove the screws (2), and washers (3), to disconnect the plate assembly (7) from the structure.

 S 024-010

 (4)  
Loosen the clamp (8) to remove the cap assembly (5) from the forward drain bladder assy (6).

 S 024-011

 (5)  
Remove the bolts (9), washers (10), countersunk washers (13), and nuts (12) that attach the forward drain bladder assy (6) to the plate assembly (7).
