Prepare to Remove the Cable Assembly
 NOTE: The cable assembly for the toilet systems with the ball valve has
____ two parts: the lower cable assembly and the top cable assembly. This procedure describes the removal of the two assemblies separately.

Drain and flush the toilet tank (AMM 12-17-00/301).

Remove the access panels in the nose wheel well (AMM 12-31-11/201).Remove the Lower Cable Assembly (Cable and Casing).

Remove the pin that holds the T-handle on the shaft and remove the T-handle.

Remove the lockwire, locknut and tabwasher from the exterior side of the service panel.

Remove the cotter pin, straight pin and washer to disconnect the clevis from the actuator lever on the ball valve.

Turn the clevis and nut until they are disengaged from the cable assembly.

Move the rubber dust cover past the end that has the clevis removed.

Remove the lockwire and the locknut from the ball valve side of the lower mounting bracket.

Hold the slider housing at the inboard side of the service panel and carefully pull the cable assembly away from the service panel.

Pull the cable assembly away from the ball valve and out of the lower mounting bracket.
