 A. Installation of the Impeller Assy
 Pre SIL 32 - 095

 -Install the washer (3) and the nut (4) on the impeller and safety with the circlip (5).
 -Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003) on the drive shaft of the impeller.

 -Put the impeller (10) in position. Engage the splines. TORQUE the nut
 (4) to 3.4 m.daN (25.07 lbf.ft) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04). Safety the nut (4) with lockwire corrosion resistant steel dia 0.8 mm
 (0.03 in.).
 NOTE : Make sure that the impeller (10) turns freely.

 Post SIL 32 - 095
 -Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003) on the drive shaft of the impeller.
 -Put the impeller (10) in position. Engage the splines.
 -Install the washer (3) and the nut (4).
 -Lock the impeller (10) with DISASSEMBLY TOOL (MG174-04) and TORQUE the nut (4) to 3.4 m.daN (25.07 lbf.ft).
 -Safety the nut (4) with lockwire corrosion resistant steel dia 0.8 mm
 (0.03 in.).
 NOTE : Make sure that the impeller (10) turns freely.

 B. Installation of the Guard Assy
 (1)
 Clean the splines with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002).

 (2)
 Apply a thin layer of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003) on the splines (1) and on the splines of the guard assy.

 (3)
 Lubricate the fasteners with COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-003).

 (4)
 Install the guard assy (9).

 NOTE : The debris guard has holes of different diameters :

 -large diameter (two) : to permit removal of the guard assy without removal of the shroud assy screws (larger than the screw heads)
 -medium diameter (two) : to put the locating pins in the correct position. Same holes on the shroud assy (centering function)
 -small diameter (four) : to put the four attachment screws in the correct position.
 NOTE : Use the locating pins (11) to put the guard assy (9) in the

 correct position.

 (5) Install the screws (8) and the washers (7). TORQUE the screws to between 0.22 and 0.24 m.daN (19.46 and 21.23 lbf.in).
