R D. Installation of the Mid Stage Tee Duct to Pylon Interface Tube Assembly
R (1) Remove the protective covers from the tube assembly (35), the union
R (55), and the hose (10).
R (2) Loosely connect the hose assembly (10) to the tube assembly (35).
R (3) If necessary, install the union (55) on the mid stage tee duct.
R TORQUE the union to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
R (4) Loosely connect the tube assembly (35) to the union (55) on the mid
R stage tee duct.
R (5) Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (35). Use the bolt (25) to
R attach the clamp to the bracket at engine flange Sta. 221 (B9). (Two
R locations).
R (6) Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (35). Use the bolt (25) to
R attach the two clamps (30) to the bracket at engine flange Sta. 221
R (B9).
R (7) Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (35). Use the bolt (25) to
R attach the clamp (30) to the bracket at engine flange Sta. 215 (B8).
R (8) Make sure that the tube assembly (35) is in the correct position.
R (9) TORQUE the hose assembly coupling nuts to between 135 and 150 lbf.in
(1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the tube when you torque the____
R coupling nut on the hose.
R (10) TORQUE the tube assembly coupling nuts to between 135 and 150 lbf.in
(1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
R NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union when you loosen the____
R coupling nut on the tube.
R (11) TORQUE the bolts (25) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28
m.daN).

C. Installation of the Flexible Metal Pneumatic Hose Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers on the hose assembly (15), the engine tube and the tube assembly (20).
(2)
Connect the hose assembly (15) to the engine tube.
(3)
Connect the hose assembly (15) to the tube assembly (20).
(4)
TORQUE the coupling nuts on the two ends of the hose assembly (15) to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the engine tube and/or the tube
____ assembly when you torque the coupling nut.

D. Installation of the Mid Stage Tee Duct to Pylon Interface Tube Assembly
(1)
Remove the protective covers on the tube assembly (35), the union
(55) and the hose (10).
(2)
Loosely connect the hose assembly (10) to the tube assembly (35).
(3)
If necessary, install the union (55) on the mid stage tee duct. TORQUE the union to between 135 and 150 lbf.in (1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
(4)
Loosely connect the tube assembly (35) to the union (55) on the mid stage tee duct.
(5)
Put the clamps (30) on the tube assembly (35). Use the bolts (25) to attach the clamps to the brackets at engine flange Sta. 221 (B9) (two locations).
(6)
Put the clamp (30) on the tube assembly (35). Use the bolts (25) to attach the clamp (30) to the brackets at engine flange Sta. 215 (B8).
(7)
Make sure the tube assembly (35) is in the correct position.
(8)
TORQUE the tube assembly coupling nuts to between 135 and 150 lbf.in
(1.52 and 1.69 m.daN).
NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union and tube assembly when
____
you torque the coupling nuts.
(9) TORQUE the bolts (25) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
