On the AIR COND panel 30VU make sure that:
-
the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on),
-
the X BLEED selector switch is set to OPEN (the BLEED page shows that the X BLEED valve is open),
-
the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off) (the BLEED page shows that the APU BLEED valve is closed).
NOTE : Ignore the warnings that are caused by disagree between ENG 1
____ BLEED, ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches position and the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve.
(9) On the ANTI-ICE section of the panel 25VU:
-make sure that the ANTI-ICE/WING pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).

4. Procedure

(1)
Connect the ground air source to the HP ground connector.
(2)
Start the ground air source and slowly increase the pressure until it becomes stable at 30 psi (2.0684 bar).
(3)
On the engines, in the pylons, the wings, the belly fairing and the Aft cargo Compartment, feel by hand or listen for leaks from:
-all the air ducts, the sense lines and specially the clamps, the unions and flexible joints.
5. Close-up

Subtask 36-11-00-860-057
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
Stop the pressurization of the bleed air ducts with the air source.
(2)
Disconnect the air source from the HP connector.
(3)
On valve-bleed pressure regulator 4001HA:
-stop the pressurization of the valve with the air supply and check that it closes with its manual position indicator,
-disconnect the air supply source,
-install the cap on test port.
(4)
On the ECAM Control Panel set the LOWER DISPLAY and the UPPER DISPLAY potentiometer to OFF.
(5)
In the air conditioning compartment:
-remove the end fittings.
(6)
Connect the water tank, hyd reservoir and trim air valve pressurization interconnection lines to the pressure service check valves (7272HM and 7270HM).
(7)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

B. Close Access
(1)
Close the access doors of the air conditioning units:
-191BB, 192FB.
(2)
Close the left thrust-reverser cowl door (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-410-040): FOR 1000EM1 451AL. FOR 1000EM2 461AL.
(3)
Close the left fan cowl door (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040): FOR 1000EM1 437AL. FOR 1000EM2 447AL.
(4)
Close the access doors on the wings and belly fairing
(5)
For the left wing and belly fairing: 521AB, 521CB, 521EB, 521BT 191BT, 197BB 521HB, 522AB, 147AB, 147EB, 472AR.
(6)
For the right wing and belly fairing:
621AB, 621CB, 621EB, 621BT, 192BT 621HB, 622AB, 482AR.
(7)
Close the access doors on the pylon:
FOR 1000EM1
413DL, 414FR.
FOR 1000EM2
423DL, 423FL.

Remove the warning notice(s).
(9)
Remove the access platform(s).

To make sure that there are no leaks from the air bleed system downstream of the high-pressure bleed valve and intermediate-pressure bleed check-valve. Pressurization by APU and the bleed pressure regulator valve (PRV) test port.
