 Subtask 71-21-11-420-057
 A. Installation of the Cross Beam Assembly
 (1) Put the retainers (115) in position on the pins (100) and install them in the cross beam assembly (75). Put the nuts (125) and washers

 (120) in position in the cross beam assembly (75).

 (2) Put the cross beam assembly (75) on the forward engine mount.

 (3) Put the pin (145) in position through the cross beam assembly and move the retainers (140) through the slots of the pin (145).

 (4) Install the spacers (150), the bolts (130), washers (135) and (80) and the nuts (85).

 (5) TORQUE the nuts (85) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).

 B. Installation of the Forward Engine Mount Links
 (1) Install the forward engine mount link (30) on the cross beam assembly (75).
 NOTE : Installation of the hardware that attach the forward engine
____ mount links to the cross beam assembly is the same at both locations.
 (a) Put the forward engine mount link (30) in position in the cross beam assembly (75).

 (b) Put the pin (100) through the cross beam assembly (75) and the engine mount link (30) with the retainer (115), the bolt (125) and the washer (120) in position.

 (c) Install the bolt (90), washers (95), (105), (87) and nuts (110),

 (88) that attach the retainer (115).

 (d) TORQUE the nuts (110) and (88) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN)

 (2) Install the forward engine mount link (30) on the engine bracket (55).
 NOTE : Installation of the hardware that attach the forward engine
____ mount links to the engine brackets is the same at both locations.
 (a) Cleaning. WARNING : TRICHLOROETHANE IS A HAZARDOUS MATERIAL THAT CAN CAUSE

 INJURY OR ILLNESS IF NOT CORRECTLY USED. BEFORE YOU USE
 THIS PRODUCT, READ THE APPLICABLE MANUFACTURER'S
 "MATERIAL DATA SAFETY SHEET" AND OBEY THE SAFETY AND
 HEALTH PRECAUTIONS.
 1_ Clean the bolts (5), (20), washers (10), (25), (65), nuts
 (50), (60), and retainers (15), (70). Use a cloth moist with
 trichlorethylene (Material No. CP1008). Wipe the parts dry
 before the solvent becomes a gas.

 (b) Mix the primer. CAUTION : SS-4004 PRIMER IS CLASSIFIED AS A DANGEROUS MATERIAL
_______ WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY OR ILLNESS IF IT IS NOT CORRECTLY USED. REFER TO THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFIC SAFETY AND HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE YOU USE THIS PRODUCT. CAREFULLY READ THE APPLICABLE "MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET" AND OBEY ALL SAFETY AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS.
 1 Mix the primer (General Electric, use with RTV-88) (Material
_ No. CP2215) per the manufacturer's instructions.
 (c) Apply the primer to the two sides of the retainers (15), (70), washer (25), the head of the bolt (20), and the nut (50).
 NOTE : The minimum time for the primer to cure is one hour at 70
____
 deg.F (21.1 deg.C).

 (d) Put the retainers (70) between the link and the engine bracket (55).

 (e) Attach the engine mount link to the engine bracket (55) with the bolts (20), washers (25) and nuts (50).

 NOTE : If necessary adjust the length of the rod of the RODS -
____ FWD ENG MOUNT (98D71203003000) to correctly position the link (30) on the engine bracket (55).
 (f) Tightening method. CAUTION : USE TWO WRENCHES WHEN YOU TORQUE THE BOLT AND NUT. THE
_______ NUT CAN TURN. IF THE NUT TURNS IT CAN DAMAGE THE LINK.
 1 TORQUE the bolt (20) to 260 lbf.in (2.93 m.daN).

 (g) Put the retainer (15) on the link against the retainer (70) and make sure that the bolt holes are aligned.

 (h) If the bolt holes are not aligned, increase the torque on the bolt (20) to align the bolt holes.

 NOTE : Do not TORQUE the bolt (20) more than to 320 lbf.in (3.61
