 WATER SEPARATOR COALESCER (BAG) - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General_______
 A.  This task does a check of the condition of the water separator coalescer.
 B.  Fog or high humidity in the control cabin shows a clogged bag in the water separator coalescer. Noise that you hear again and again through the distribution system for the air conditioning also shows a clogged bag. When the bag becomes clogged, the pressure increases on the piston for the bag condition indicator. This pressure pushes the disk on the piston shaft to the red area of the bag condition indicator. When the disk is in the red area, you must replace the bag.
