Make sure the CDU shows A/T BITE TEST - INTERACTIVE - THROTTLE SPLIT 1/2 page.

 (c)  
Set the two throttles to idle.

 (d)  
Engage the A/T.

 (e)  
Make sure the A/T computer/system automatically does the throttle split test in 20 seconds.

 NOTE:____Do not touch the throttle lever during the test. Page 2/2 of the throttle split test will come at the end of the test automatically.

 (f)  
Engage the A/T again.

 (g)  
Make sure that A/T computer/system automatically does the second throttle split test in 20 seconds.

 (h)  
Make sure that CDU shows NO FAULT at the end of the test.

 NOTE: If the test had failure, CDU will show "TEST FAILED"

 NOTE: The ENGINES/RATINGS tests make sure the airplanes have the
____ correct engines and the thrust ratings for engines intermix, substitution or derate configuration.
 (a)  
Push LSK 5L and make sure that CDU shows A/T BITE TEST -ENGINES/RATINGS page.

 (b)  
Make sure that L-ENGINE and R-ENGINE shown on the CDU agree with the left and right engine installed on the airplane.

 (c)  
The FMC and A/T RATING shown on the CDU must agree with the rating program pin connected to the FMC and A/T computer on the airplane.

 NOTE: The FMC thrust rating should never be more than
____
 the A/T thrust rating.

 NOTE: AIRPLANES WITH ENGINE INTERMIX CONFIGURATION;
____ The FMC should be connected to the lower thrust rating of the two engines installed.
 (d)  
Make sure there is no ERROR message shown on the CDU.

 (e)  
Push LSK 6L (<INDEX) and make sure that CDU shows A/T BITE TEST 1/2 page.

 (a)  
Set the FMC source select switch to the BOTH ON R position.

 (b)  
Push the INIT REF key on the FMC CDU for the POS INIT or the PERF INIT page.

 (c)  
Push LSK 6L (<INDEX) for the INIT REF INDEX page 1/1 on the CDU.

Push LSK 3L (<A/T) for the A/T BITE test page 1/2.

 (f)  
Make sure that the red A/T warning lights come on.

 (g)  
Make sure that the A/T BITE TEST page 1/2 is shown on the CDU.

 (h)  
Open the FMCS CMPTR NO. 1 circuit breaker on the P18-2 circuit breaker panel.

 (i)  
Make sure that the A/T BITE TEST page 1/2 stays on the CDU.

 (j)  
Close the FMCS CMPTR NO. 1 circuit breaker on the P18-2 circuit breaker panel.

 (k)  
Open the FMCS CMPTR NO. 2 circuit breaker on the P6-1 circuit breaker panel.

 (l)  
Make sure the A/T BITE TEST page 1/2 is not shown on the CDU.

 (m)  
Make sure the two A/T warning lights flash.

 (n)  
Push the captain's (or first officer's) warning light to turn the warning lights off.

 (o)  
Set the FMC source selector switch to the BOTH ON L position.
