_______ SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM SOLVENTS. SOLVENTS ARE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. SOLVENTS MAY BE FLAMMABLE OR HARMFUL TO THE ENVIRONMENT. REFER TO PRODUCT MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROPER HANDLING PROCEDURES.
 (1)  Remove all of the used sealant precoat from the repair area unless you know that the precoat is BMS 5-26, Type II material in a good condition.
 (a)  
Remove the used precoat with a plastic scraper and (if it is necessary) an abrasive pad.

 (b)  
Clean the surface with a clean brush and gauze pads wet with solvent, Series 93 (AMM 20-30-93/201).

 NOTE: The area you clean must make an overlap with the
____ adjacent area. The total area must be a minimum of two times larger than the area you apply the sealant.
 (c)  
Rub the area with a clean, dry gauze pad.

 (d)  
Continue to clean and dry the surface until the dry gauze pad stays clean.

 J. Repair the Corrosion (If It is Necessary)

 (1)  If you find some corrosion on the surface of the tank, do this task: "Repair of Fuel Tank Corrosion".
 K. Apply the Fuel Tank Sealant

 NOTE: The time in which you can apply the mixed BMS 5-26, Class
____ B-2 sealant is 2 hours at 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity. The time in which you can apply the mixed Pro-Seal 860, B 1/6 is 10 minutes at 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity.
