Retract the coupling plungers at the ends of the rail.

Put the guide/restraint rail in its position in the rail supports.

Extend the coupling plungers to lock the guide/restraint rail to the adjacent rail.

 (5)  
Extend the retaining pins to lock the guide/restraint rail to the rail supports:

 (a)  
Push the retaining pin handle to extend the retaining pin through the hole in the guide/restraint rail.

 (b)  
Turn the retaining pin handle clockwise to the horizontal position.

 I. Install the Retractable Guide/Restraint Rails (Side Cargo Door)
 S 434-098
 (1)  Pull the pin-release handles on the rail in the outboard direction to retract the retaining pins.
 NOTE: The pin-release handles must stay locked in the outboard

 position.

 (2) Put the guide/restraint rail in its position in the rail supports.

 J. Install the Retractable Rollout Guide/Stops (Side Cargo Door)

 (1)
Lift the shear-plunger levers to retract the shear-plunger studs.

Engage the tension studs on the bottom of the rollout guide/stop with the holes in the seat track and floor fitting.

 (3)  
Move the rollout guide/stop approximately 0.50 inch in the forward or aft direction.

 NOTE: The shear-plunger studs must align with the holes in the seat

 track.

 (4)  Lower the shear-plunger levers to extend the shear-plunger studs into the holes in the seat track.
 K. Install the Transition Guide Rail (P29th pallet position)
 S 424-110
 (1)  Attach the aft end of the transition guide rail to the
 guide/restraint rail at STA 2250-2360:

 (a)  
Align the end fittings of transition guide rail with the end fitting of the guide/restraint rail.

 (b)  
Install the pivot pin and the spring pin.

 (2)  Attach the forward end of the transition guide rail to the
 guide/restraint rail at STA 2130-2200:

 (a)  
Align the end fitting of the transition guide rail with the hole in the guide/restraint rail.

 (b)  
Install the quick-release lockpin.
