 E. Procedure
 NOTE: To correctly join the continuous side guide components to each
____ other, install them in the specified sequence from the forward to the aft sections of the cargo compartment.
 NOTE: The forward and aft entrance rollers on the right side of the aft
____
 cargo compartment cannot be detached from the aircraft
 structure.

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE SELF-LOCKING NUTS AGAIN. ALWAYS REPLACE THEM WITH NEW LOCK NUTS.
 (1)  
Install the end guide assemblies to the aircraft structure with 2 bolts at STA 1500.

 (2)  
To install the continuous side guides between STA 1500 and STA 1800 do the following steps in sequence:

 (a)  
Put the rail and nut assembly on the rectangular nose of the previously installed unit.

 (b)  
Put the rectangular nose of the next side guide unit on the rail and nut assembly.

 (c)  
Attach the side guide assembly to the aircraft structure using the bolts washers removed at this location. Use new nuts.

 (d)  
Repeat these steps until the continuous side guides are installed to STA 1800.

 (e)  
At STA 1500, install the adaptor together with the profile attachment between the Boeing rail and the rail and nut assembly.

 (3)  FOR AREAS OF ARTICULATION FROM STA 1580 TO STA 1600 AND FROM STA 1760 TO 1780 ONLY; Install the clamps without plates on the rail and nut assembly. Use only the screws removed from this location or refer to the IPC for the correct part number.
 (a) Remove the bolts of the side guide assembly at STA 1800.

 (b)  Carefully disengage the continuous side guide from its attaching point at STA 1800 until the rail and nut assembly fits between the entrance roller and the side guide.
 NOTE: Make sure the rectangular nose of the entrance roller
____ and side guide fits properly with the rail and nut assembly.
 CAUTION: THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE RAIL AND NUT ASSEMBLY AND THE
_______
 ENTRANCE ROLLER CANNOT EXCEED 0.06 in (1.5 mm).

 (c)  Reinstall the continuous side guide to its attaching point at STA 1800 using the bolts, washers and nuts removed at this location.

 (4)  AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT LEFT SIDE ONLY; To install the side guide between STA 1800 and STA 1944, do the following steps in sequence:
 (a)  
Put a rail and nut assembly on the rectangular nose of the installed side guide assembly.

 (b)  
Put the rectangular nose of the following side guide assembly on the rail and nut assembly.

 (c)  
Attach the side guide assembly to the aircraft structure using the bolts together with the washers and nuts removed at this location.

 (d)  
Repeat these steps until the side guides are installed back to STA 1944.

 (e)  
Install the profile supports and clamps together with the plates on the rail and nut assembly.

 (5)  AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT RIGHT SIDE ONLY; To install the continuous side guide between STA 1924 and STA 1944, do the following steps in sequence:
 NOTE: The end guide assembly at STA 1924 cannot be detached from

 the aircraft structure.

 (a)  
Put a rail and nut assembly on the rectangular nose of the installed end guide assembly.
