If it is installed, attach the clamp on the scupper drain tube to the support bracket with the steps that follow: 1) Lubricate the threads of the bolt, which attaches the clamp

 for the scupper drain tube, with engine oil.
 2)  Attach the clamp on the scupper drain tube to the support bracket with the bolt, washer, and nut. a) Tighten the bolt to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5
 newton-meters).

 (14) For the lower aft cooling air tube, do the steps that follow (view E):
 (a)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolts, which attach the bracket to the flange N, with engine oil.

 (b)  
Install the bracket to the flange N at the 8 o'clock position with the bolts and nuts. 1) Tighten the nuts to 180-200 pound-inches (20.3-22.6

 newton-meters).

 (15) For the lower aft, upper forward, and upper center forward cooling air tube, install the engine fire detector element and support tube (AMM 26-11-02/401).

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT TWIST OR BEND THE CABLE DURING THE INSTALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABLE.
 (16) For the lower aft cooling air tube, install the support tube for the wire harness with the steps that follow (views B, G, and H):
 (a)  
Install the clamps on the support tube and the wire harness to the flange P bracket at the 5:30 o'clock position with the bolt and nut. 1) Tighten the bolt with your hand.

 (b)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolt, which attaches the clamp on the support tube, with engine oil.

 (c)  
Install the clamp on the support tube to the bracket on the aft flange of the No. 2 TVC air duct with the bolt and nut. 1) Tighten the bolt with your hand.

Install the clamp on the support tube to the bracket on the
 bridge bracket for the LPT tube at approximately the 5:30
 o'clock position with the bolt and nut.
 1) Tighten the nut with your hand.

 (f)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolt, which attaches the clamp for the support tube, with engine oil.

 (g)  
Install the clamp on the support tube to the bracket on the flange N bracket at approximately the 4 o'clock position with the bolt and nut. 1) Tighten the nut with your hand.

 (h)  
Tighten the nuts to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).

 For the lower forward cooling air tube, install the support bracket for the heat shield and flange M bracket at approximately the 6:30 o'clock position with the steps that follow (view M):

 (a)  
Lubricate the threads of the bolts, which attach the bracket to the flange M, with engine oil.

 (b)  
Install the bracket to the flange M with the bolts and nuts.

 1)  Tighten the bolts to 180-200 pound-inches (20.3-22.6 newton-meters).

 (c)  
Install the support bracket for the heat shield of the start valve (with the heat shield) to the flange M bracket with the bolts, washers, and nuts. 1) Tighten the bolts.

 (d)  
Install the support bracket for the heat shield to the heat shield and flange M bracket with the bolts, washers, and nuts. 1) Tighten the bolts.

 (18)
 For the lower forward cooling air tube, install the left accessory cooling tube with the steps that follow (views E and N):

 (a)  
Remove the protection caps from the tube nut and mating tube
 adapter.

 (b)  
Put the accessory cooling tube on the engine between the intermediate case and flange M at approximately the 6 o'clock position.

 (c)  
Connect the forward tube nut to the tube adapter at the aft
 face of the intermediate case.
 1) Tighten the tube nut with your hand.
