R C. Check for too much Play (Yellow servo control pressurized)
R NOTE : For monitoring and follow up of the play at the rudder trailing____
R edge, it is recommended that the operator record in its own
R documentation the values measured.
R (1) At the same position, put a force of 30 daN (67.4426 lbf) in the
R right direction on the trailing edge.
R (2) Continue to apply this force and set the dial indicator to zero.
R (3) Release the force.
R (4) At the same position, put a force of 30 daN (67.4426 lbf) in the left
R direction on the trailing edge.
R (5) Continue to apply this force and read the value on the dial
R indicator.
R (6) Release the force.
R (7) Record the trailing edge play related to the Yellow servo control
R pressurized.

R D. On the HYD section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
R (1) Release the LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVES/Y pushbutton switch
R (the OFF legend comes on).
R (2) Push the LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVES/B pushbutton switch (the OFF legend
R goes off).

R (2) Remove the CHECK TOOL - AILERON, ELEVATOR, RUDDER (98D27303003001) or
R CHECK TOOL (ORAP) - AILERON, ELEVATOR, RUDDER (98D27303022000) , the
R SPRING SCALE ASSY (97A27902016000) or GAGE ASSY - PUSH-PULL
R (97A27003000000) or GAGE ASSY - PUSH-PULL (97A27003000001), and the
R LOAD APPLICATION TOOL - ELEVATOR, AILERON, RUDDER (98D27303000001)
R from the rudder.
